Illinois – Chicago

Chicago Cultural Center and World Music Festival
In September, the city of Chicago hosts the World Music Festival, a celebration of music and culture from around the world. You can listen to live music from many countries — all for free! You can also visit the Chicago Cultural Center any time of year to see free performances, art shows, and exhibits.

Wisconsin – Milwaukee

Bastille Days
This French-themed festival happens every July in downtown Milwaukee. It celebrates French culture with music, food like crepes and beignets, and a replica of the Eiffel Tower. There are also parades and street performers.
